The electric oil level control system is the first of a new type of oil level control technology for use on multiple compressor refrigeration systems. The system was developed specifically for multiple compressor systems where accurate control and ability to hold the same level through a range of pressure drops is an important requirement. The system consists of an oil level controller which allows a preset oil level to be maintained in each compressor. It uses an optical oil level transducer to sense oil level in each compressor crankcase and a manifold or solenoid to distribute oil.
CAUTION
The S-4004 or S-4005 oil filters must be used to capture any foreign material that will ultimately cause the electronic oil level control system problems. Not using the same type of oil filters will void the warranty.
